If a random stranger knows that just because I work at Disney World it doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to experience the same level of magic as a normal guest could, when why doesn't everyone? Just because I wear a Disney issued costume, it doesn't mean that I am an emotionless robot.
I've shared with you guys the one wonderful family that I had previously met, who wrote that letter to my leaders.
Well about two weeks ago I met 'Jack and the Family', It was your average family that vacations at Disney, or so I thought when I first met them. As the two weeks progressed I started to see them more and more, they were coming to the store to see me. I was helping them collect pins they couldn't find in the parks or at the other resorts. If I could find them myself. We would stand in whatever store I was in that night and talk for a minimum of 30 minutes every night. I got to know there daughter so well, and this past Sunday they came in and told me they were leaving Tuesday. Well, I am off Monday's and Tuesday's...So we said what I believed to be our final goodbyes, and I wished them safe travels.
Well, at work last night I was told by another cast member that a small box had been left for me at the Music Resort. So I texted my co-worker and asked if she could pick it up for me, because I was riding home with her, and when she picked me up this is what she gave me :
So, Last night we said our goodbyes to a couple more amazing people, as they leave this program to go on and do bigger and brighter things! I wanna wish everyone safe travels, and good luck.
Lets not forget we are now 5 days away from the next move in day!
