T-43 Days

My arrival date is in exactly 43 days!!!!
*insert excited screaming here*

But in all seriousness I'm getting really nervous. Did I mention I leave right after my finals week guys? Like whoa. Talk about rushing me out.

But in this post I am going to make a couple list(s) for you guys.
*What to pack(mainly applies to people flying)
*What to have shipped
*What to buy when you are there.

SO my lists are kind of long, I am not going to lie you. I like clothes and shoes entirely too much, so packing for this is/has/will be a huge pain for me.
But lets get started:

Before we get started one last thing, on the Disney Pre-arrival check list it tells you to bring a form of documentation from list A, if you don't have those it gives you the options to bring one item from list B and one item from list C.
I can not stress enough that you NEED to have one of theses forms with you, it proves you ability to work, they are you work documents. You NEED to have them. Shove them in you wallet the night before you leave and don't take them out until check in. You NEED them!

What to pack:
Business causal clothes - can't stress this enough, you will need them for tradtions, and from everything I have read if you are planning to take classes down there you will need them then too.
Shorts - You are going to be down there for a while so make sure you bring enough.
Shirts/Tank tops - again, make sure you bring enough. (You can always have extra shipped down to you)
Shoes - they don't tell you the type of shoes you will need for you specific placement until check in, but they do give you time to obtain them. But you should bring shoes you enjoy. comfy shoes. Sneakers, sandals, flip flops. Even if they can't be worn when you are working you are an 18-20 something year old who will have days off and want to explore.
Jeans - I know what you are thinking, Jeans? But it's Florida. Trust me, it may be hotter than the fire gates of hell during the day but they do get really cold nights occasionally.
Sweatshrts/hoodies/jackets- Again, they do have cold days/nights and it does tend to be very rainy down there too.
SwimWear - Each apartment complex has a pool, and there are water parks around.
Electronics - Like your computer, kindles, cameras, cell phones, ipods, dvd player, gaming devices, TVs. Keep in mind, that there are no TV jacks in the bed rooms, there is ONE in the common room of each apartment. So if you do pick your roommates I suggest someone that is driving bring their tv and everyone else can contribute DVDs. PHONE CHARGERS. ALL CHARGERS.
Accessories -  Jewelry (Which is not allowed on the job), headbands, bobby pins, hair ties, scarfs, wallets, purses, backpacks.
Photos - Of your family, friends, and pets. You are going to be gone awhile and everyone gets homesick from time to time.
Bathroom supplies - Shampoo, conditioner, loofa, tooth brush and paste, make up, perfume, deodorant, contact solution, body wash, and lotions. ( If you are flying, most of this should go on the buy once you get down there list.)
Bedding - Pillows, sheets, blankets. (they are not provided, everyone also recommends a mattress pad...I guess the beds suck)

Have Shipped:
*Blenders
*Coffee makers (if you drink coffee, they don't provide one..sooo)
*Toasters
*Any DVDs you didn't have room to pack
*Books.
*Extra clothes

Buy Down there: - You will have time to shop after you have unpacked and gotten settled.
*Combination lock, for you apartment locker.
*Food.
*Drinks
*Work shoes
*Any bathroom supplies you were unable to bring
*Bedding - if you are flying it will be really hard to bring bedding with you

Those are pretty basics lists of the things you should consider packing. I myself, like mentioned, have much more detailed lists catered to my needs. But these can be changed.

One more thing, if you want to direct deposit remember to bring a black void check with you to check in. If you fail to do so they will give you a pay roll card that works pretty much like a pre-paid credit card.

Also, you might want to consider playing mission: time keeper, I learned a lot that I didn't know. Even though it too FOREVER it was still valuable information about Disney.

I am soooo excited to meet everyone that is going down!! Again, my arrival date is Monday May 19th.
This is an adventure I cannot wait to start.

I've met a couple people via Instagram and Twitter! So I will leave my screen names below.
